The Urban Artist Market is an indoor curated show taking place on July 17-18 in Irving, Texas at the Irving Convention Center at Las Colinas, which will feature artisans in a variety of disciplines selling their original work.

Attendees will be delighted and amazed by a variety of distinctive, one-of-a-kind creations in 2D painting, ceramics, pottery, mosaic, stained and fused glass, fiber art, book art, photography, sculpture, jewelry, collage, mixed media and much, much more.

Friday Entertainment by Accordionist-Entertainer Mike Frankel

Mike Frankel has been playing professionally for more than 50 years. His musical repertoire includes selections from the Great American Song Book, Big Band, Pop Music of the ‘40’s through 70’s, Country-Western, Rock in Roll, Marches, Polkas and Waltzes. Ethnic favorites include Austrian-German, French, Hawaiian, Irish, Italian, Israeli/Jewish and Latino. He sings the music of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., Elvis and more.

Mike was born and raised in Los Angeles, where he performed in Combos, Trios, Big Bands and Rock Groups. His Big Band, “The Sound Revue,” competed in the annual “Battle of the Bands” at The Hollywood Bowl, finishing in 2nd Place. Since moving to Dallas, Mike has created a niche for the accordion and is one of the most popular Accordionist-Entertainers in the DFW area.
