NEW TO SHOW: Participating artist exhibitors have the opportunity to submit to works to our Best of Show juried competition. Winners will be on display in lobby throughout weekend. Categories for competition include pottery/ceramics, digital art/photography/printmaking, fiber, glass, jewelry, metalwork, mixed media, painting/drawing, sculpture/assemblage, wood/leather and novelty.

Brett Dyer, M.F.A., B.F.A., Artist and Professor

Brett Dyer, originally from East Texas, currently lives and works in Dallas where he exhibits nationally and serves as an art professor at North Lake College. He teaches private workshops at various art centers and museums and has previously taught at El Centro College, Tarrant County College and Collin College. He has won multiple awards for teaching and his art. Recently he was named the 2015-2016 Presidential Scholar of North Lake College. He has also won mural competitions in which he painted large murals in both Deep Ellum and the City of Irving.

Roberta Masciarelli, Artist and Gallery Owner

Roberta Masciarelli is a Brazilian born visual artist based in Dallas, Texas. Being in the visual arena her entire life, her artistic expression has evolved through time. Her art is based on what she believes: recycling, repurposing, thinking about the planet and the effects of environmental pollution. She has participated in art events throughout the United States including Dallas, New York, Santa Fe, Sedona and Washington, DC. She has exhibited in international shows in Bosnia, Denmark, English, Holland, India, Italy, Japan, New Zealand, Portugal and South Africa. She currently owns and operates the gallery in the Addison Circle Art Center.

Ken Villalobos, ACTX Publisher

Ken is founder and publisher of Arts and Culture, Texas.  Arts and Culture Texas (ACTX) is a state-wide magazine focused on the contemporary visual and performing arts and their affect on life and lives in Texas. Editorial content in the print publication and online site includes feature articles, artist interviews, reviews, think pieces and more. The magazine is distributed in Austin, Dallas/Ft Worth, Houston and San Antonio. Ken is passionate about supporting local arts, music and theater and has juried several shows.
