ADDISON, TEXAS: The Third Urban Artist Market will be held on October 11-12 at the Addison Conference Centre. The Urban Artist Market will showcase more than 75 artisans exhibiting a diverse array of handcrafted, one-of-a-kind creative goods and feature live demonstrations throughout Saturday.

“Our show will engage your senses,” said Dallas artist CJ Miller, who produces the event. “We invite you to stroll our aisles and discover fine art, pottery, jewelry, mosaic, sculpture, stained glass, fiber art, wearable art, perfectly timed for the holiday season.”

Urban Artist Market opens with a VIP reception and fundraiser benefiting Genesis Women’s Shelter & Support on Friday, October 11, from 6 – 9 p.m. VIP ticket holders will enjoy a first look at the show, live music, drinks and appetizers, with proceeds funding Genesis. Tickets are available to everyone.

“We’re proud to host Genesis and raise awareness for their mission of providing safety, shelter and support for women who have experienced domestic violence, including raising awareness about its cause, prevalence and impact,” said Miller. “Domestic violence affects women of all ages, races and religions and requires a societal shift for healing. It’s something that has negatively influenced everyone at some time.”

Tickets for the Genesis Women’s Shelter & Support fundraiser on Friday are $20. On Saturday, admission is $10 at the door and children under 12 are admitted free. Parking is free. Purchase tickets to the event by clicking here.
